As Associate Director, Communications, Seanna Mullen Sumrak focuses on building an effective digital media presence for the Paulson Institute using impactful storytelling as well as short, interesting bites of information.  Her work reaches our audiences through our website and through various social media channels.

Prior to joining PI, Seanna was a Communication Specialist at Loyola University Chicago. In this role, she managed internal communications, supported the University’s social media channels and was involved with media relations efforts. In her previous positions on communications and development teams, Seanna worked to promote the work of the organizations by managing various social media platforms as well as their websites and by writing and editing many publications.

Seanna earned her BA in English with a concentration in Women’s Studies from Boston College, and her MA in Women’s Studies with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from The George Washington University in Washington, DC.
