The Paulson Institute welcomed former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright to the University of Chicago campus for a wide-ranging discussion with students of the challenges facing America and the world and “lessons learned” from her distinguished career in government, business and academia. In a conversation moderated by Institute chairman Henry M. Paulson, Jr., Albright reflected on her career and life experiences, including her historic role as the first woman to serve as US Secretary of State. The event was the latest in a series of conversations that The Paulson Institute is sponsoring in Chicago and at the University’s Beijing Center with leaders, practitioners, and thinkers making innovative contributions to world affairs.
