Co-sponsored with the University of Chicago’s Beijing Center, the Paulson Institute welcomed former Utah governor and U.S. Ambassador to China Jon Huntsman to campus. Institute chairman Henry M. Paulson, Jr., moderated a conversation with Huntsman about the United States and its politics, China and its challenges, and “lessons learned” from his varied career in business, trade negotiations, diplomacy, and electoral politics. The event was the second in a series of lectures, conversations, and events the Paulson Institute is sponsoring in Chicago and at the university’s Beijing Center with world leaders, practitioners, and thinkers making innovative contributions to world affairs.
