Andy Morimoto is Director of Research at the Paulson Institute and a Policy Fellow at the Institute’s Green Finance Center. He generates and coordinates research ideas for products across the Institute’s core program areas, and serves as the principal editor for Paulson Institute publications. As a Policy Fellow, he conducts research and analysis at the intersection of climate policy, green finance, and US-China relations. He also supports the chairman, former Treasury Secretary Henry M. Paulson Jr., on a number of special projects and activities, including the podcast Straight Talk with Hank Paulson, and the Aspen Economic Strategy Group. He previously worked at The Chicago Council on Global Affairs, where he was a research associate focusing on trade and the global economy. He earned a MA in international relations from The University of Chicago, and a BA in political science and history from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he graduated summa cum laude.
